Questions About Planning Your Event
Do guests need golf experience?
No. Your host explains how to take part and helps new players get comfortable. Guests who already play can enjoy the challenge, and those taking their first swing have someone there to guide them.
What is included in a booking?
Your booking includes the simulator, golf clubs and equipment, delivery, professional setup, a dedicated event host, and teardown. The package hours are your playing time; setup and teardown take place before and after that session.
Can Perfect Swing be set up indoors or outdoors?
Yes. Our convertible tent offers a compact indoor configuration and a full-size configuration for outdoor events or large indoor venues. We'll review your venue to confirm the appropriate setup.
How much space is required?
The compact indoor tent measures 16 feet wide, 6 feet deep, and 10 feet tall, with an additional protected hitting area immediately outside the front. The full-size tent measures 16 feet wide, 20 feet deep, and 10 feet tall; the golfer plays inside, with space at the back for approximately three observers and the host. After your booking request, we'll discuss your venue and confirm the complete layout with you.
How long does setup and teardown take?
Allow approximately one hour for setup before the event and approximately one hour for teardown afterward. Setup and teardown time are not part of your booked playing time.
What power is required?
Access to one dedicated 120V electrical outlet. We'll review its location and accessibility while planning the setup.
Do guests need to bring golf clubs?
Golf clubs are included. We bring an adult men's right-handed set, adult men's left-handed clubs, a selection of adult women's right-handed clubs, and children's clubs.
Guests who prefer to use their own clubs are welcome to bring them.
What launch monitor do you use?
We use a Foresight Sports GC3 launch monitor licensed for commercial use. Its three high-speed cameras capture ball speed, launch angle, and spin, giving golfers detailed feedback on their shots.
How many guests can play?
Tell us your approximate guest count and how long you'd like the simulator available. We'll suggest a format and playing schedule for your event. The number who can take part depends on the activities and time available.
What do guests actually play?
We will help choose golf activities and friendly challenges to suit your guests and booked playing time.
What happens if the weather affects an outdoor event?
We'll discuss weather considerations and any backup location during planning. Severe weather or unsafe conditions may require changes to the setup or cancellation.
Where do you provide events?
Our primary service area is Sacramento County and Placer County. For El Dorado Hills or another destination outside those counties, contact us to discuss availability and a quote. A travel fee may apply.
How much does it cost?
Three hours is $800, four hours $1,000, six hours $1,400, and everything is included. See pricing.
How do I reserve a date?
Start with a booking request. We'll review availability, your venue, and the event details, then confirm a quote. A signed agreement and 50% deposit reserve the date. The remaining balance is due before setup on the day of your event. Start a booking request.
How far in advance can I book?
Events can generally be booked up to six months in advance. Certain high-demand or premium dates may have different pricing or availability.
Does everyone have to sign a waiver?
Anyone participating in the golf simulator completes a participant waiver. It can be completed electronically by QR code at the event, and if someone does not have a phone your host has a simple way for them to complete it on site. See participant waivers.
Because guests are swinging real golf clubs, everyone follows the safety rules and instructions from their host.
Is someone from Perfect Swing at the event?
Yes. Every event includes a dedicated host experienced in golf and simulator operation to guide play and help your guests enjoy the experience. Your host manages the simulator from setup through teardown.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations made at least 14 days before the event receive a full refund.
For cancellations made less than 14 days but more than 72 hours before the event, the 50% deposit is non-refundable.
For cancellations within 72 hours of the event, the full event price is due, because the date and equipment have been reserved and we generally cannot book another event for that time.
